This Code of Conduct applies to customers, Authorised Users, visitors, and any other person who accesses or uses Zaro services, including the Zaro website, platform, Customer Apps, Agents, integrations, and Connected Services.
By using Zaro, you agree to act lawfully, responsibly, and in accordance with this Code of Conduct, the Zaro Terms and Conditions, the Terms of Use, and any applicable order form or agreement.
1. Lawful and Responsible Use
You must use Zaro only for lawful purposes and, unless otherwise agreed in writing, for your internal business operations.
You must not use Zaro in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, discriminatory, offensive, violent, pornographic, sexually explicit, gambling or betting related, unethical, harmful, or otherwise inappropriate.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Zaro complies with all applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations, data protection requirements, and third party terms.
2. Respect for Rights and Privacy
You must not use Zaro to infringe or violate the rights of any person or organisation, including Intellectual Property Rights, privacy rights, confidentiality obligations, or data protection rights.
You must not upload, process, generate, store, or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, harmful to minors, or otherwise violates the rights of others.
3. Security and Access
You must keep all usernames, passwords, access keys, invitations, Connected Accounts, and credentials secure.
You must not share individual accounts or allow unauthorised access to Zaro. You are responsible for all activity under accounts provided to you or your Authorised Users.
You must promptly notify Zaro if you become aware of any unauthorised access, credential compromise, misuse, security incident, or suspected breach.
4. Prohibited Technical Activity
You must not:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to Zaro, its systems, networks, servers, databases, or Connected Services;
- probe, scan, test, or attack Zaro systems without prior written authorisation;
- introduce viruses, worms, spyware, malware, logic bombs, or other harmful code;
- conduct denial-of-service attacks or otherwise disrupt service availability;
- circumvent rate limits, authentication mechanisms, access controls, blocking measures, or security controls;
- use scraping, bots, spiders, data mining, or automated extraction in a way that is not consistent with normal authorised use; or
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or attempt to derive the source code of the Services, except where expressly permitted by law.
5. Use of Agents and Customer Apps
You are responsible for any Customer Apps, Agents, workflows, prompts, instructions, configurations, permissions, approval flows, rate limits, kill-switches, and Connected Service actions that you create or operate through Zaro.
You must configure and supervise Agents responsibly. Agents must operate only within the scope of your authority, your internal business operations, and applicable law.
You must not configure, deploy, or operate Agents or Customer Apps in a way that:
- violates third party terms;
- causes unlawful or unauthorised processing of Personal Data;
- circumvents access controls or rate limits;
- enables unauthorised third parties to use Zaro;
- performs actions outside the scope of your authority; or
- creates a material risk of loss, harm, or unlawful activity.
6. Connected Services
If you connect third party services, accounts, tools, datasets, APIs, or systems to Zaro, you are responsible for ensuring that you have all required rights, permissions, consents, licences, and authority.
You must ensure that your use of Connected Services complies with the terms applicable to those services. You are responsible for the security and continued availability of Connected Accounts and credentials.
7. Data Quality and Compliance
You are responsible for the legality, reliability, integrity, accuracy, and quality of Customer Data, Inputs, configurations, and instructions submitted to Zaro.
You must provide required notices and obtain required authorisations and consents for Zaro to process Customer Data, including Personal Data and data accessed through Connected Services.
8. AI and Output Review
Zaro may use AI Technology that is probabilistic and may produce inaccurate, incomplete, unexpected, biased, or unsuitable Output.
You are responsible for reviewing, validating, and deciding how to use any Output. You must exercise independent judgement before relying on Output or allowing Agents, Customer Apps, or workflows to take action based on Output.
9. Confidentiality
You must protect Confidential Information and use it only as permitted under your agreement with Zaro.
You must not disclose Confidential Information except where authorised, legally required, or otherwise permitted under the applicable terms.
10. Fair Use and Service Integrity
You must not use Zaro in a way that excessively consumes resources, degrades service quality, disrupts other customers, or threatens the integrity, availability, or security of the Services.
Zaro may apply reasonable technical limits, rate limits, safeguards, suspension, or termination where needed to protect the Services, other users, or Zaro.
11. Reporting Misuse
If you become aware of misuse, abuse, fraud, security threats, policy violations, unlawful activity, or breaches of this Code of Conduct, please contact Zaro promptly at [email protected].
12. Enforcement
Zaro may investigate suspected violations of this Code of Conduct, the Terms and Conditions, the Terms of Use, or applicable law.
Where Zaro reasonably believes that a violation has occurred, Zaro may suspend or terminate access, restrict functionality, remove or disable offending content or configurations, notify relevant third parties or authorities where appropriate, and pursue any other remedies available under the applicable terms or law.
